Balanced Profile with Gentle Vegetal and Fruity Undertones
This Usucha grade Matcha, offers a smooth, balanced liquor with mild Umami notes, a hint of steamed broccoli, creamy texture and delicate sweetness, finishing with an exquisite banana-like aftertaste.

This is our entry-level Matcha, a harmonious blend of sweetness, creaminess, and fruitiness, highlighted by a distinct aroma. In its powdered form, it showcases a mid-dark emerald green color and emits a sweet, creamy scent with a subtle vegetal undertone. When whisked into Usucha, it transforms into a vibrant emerald green, releasing rich aromas of cream, banana, and steamed broccoli, complemented by classic mild umami and vegetal notes. With just a touch of refreshing astringency and minimal bitterness, its delightful flavors and aromas linger pleasantly after each sip.

Made from the Gokou cultivar, a cultivar developed for Kyoto's climate and soil, this matcha is known for its creamy texture and unique earthy aroma. Crafted from first spring harvest Tencha, is best to be enjoyed on its own, as traditional Usucha, without milk or sugar to appreciate its complexity, or as cold brew with ice. We recommend it for people who are new to Matcha, offering a subtle and elegant introduction to the world of Matcha.
