Operated by husband and wife farmers, Masashi Harajima (Producer/Japanese Tea Instructor) and Eri Harajima (Producer/Tea Education Instructor), this remarkable tea garden has a rich legacy of quality tea production with a history dating back three generations. It specializes in crafting premium mountain-grown Sencha and Gyokuro teas, renowned for their unparalleled quality and flavour.

One of the defining features of the Harajima family teas is the unique terroir of their mountainous village. Here, the tea leaves experience later budding compared to those in flatlands. This slower growth process results in teas with richer flavours and more intricate profiles. Additionally, the farm's remote location minimizes pest interference, allowing the tea plants to thrive organically, without the need for chemicals.

They employ an exclusive method using hand-picked fermented organic fertilizers, known as bokashi fertilizers and adapt their practices according to seasonal weather conditions.
